A sinuous screen wrapped form slides along the riverbank

Working with Yir Yoront, Koko Bera, Kunjen and Koko Berrin Peoples to create their gallery & cultural museum 

peoples of Kowanyama a site was chosen alongside the local creek. Two functional zones (administration and museum-gallery) are separated by an undercover court. The curvilinear building slides along the riverbank edge. The rounded roof is wrapped at ground level with an all-tropical heat and wet weathered sliding screen veranda surround.
